**Job Description**:

- Develop and implement people plans to attract, develop and retain co-workers to support the business needs and career ambitions in the store and across IKEA Singapore
- Provide an overview of key talents together with leadership team, partnering leaders and co-workers to drive and foster their career and personal development
- Support and guide all recruitment activities to develop, plan and execute talent acquisition strategy and workforce planning to support the business and staff planning objectives
- Lead the people review, performance review, talent review, salary review and provide support on various commercial reviews
- Ensure that the store has a systematic approach to learning and development following the learning staircase when building business competence
- Oversee the store’s staff cost and come up with interventions to ensure that spendings are within agreed budget/ forecasts framework
- Foster a diverse and inclusive environment for every co-worker and be an advocate of IKEA Culture and Values
- Maintain a trustful relationship with unions and manage and resolve employee relations matters and ensuring equitable and pragmatic resolutions are achieved by exercising informed judgment

**Qualifications**:

- At least 8 years of HR Manager/ HRBP experience in a fast-paced and matrixed environment
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources practices and demonstrated ability to provide HR solutions and being a trusted advisor for all co-workers
- Proven leadership abilities to lead, motivate and foster teamwork and excellence
- Dynamic, motivational presentation skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in handling employee issues with sensitivity, objectivity, and empathy
- Able to multitask, deal with complexity and ambiguity while managing multiple deliverables with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Genuinely interested in our business; have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and are a team player for whom it is natural to support on the floor when necessary
- A retailer who appreciates the nature of the business and willing to embrace unconventional work schedules which includes working on weekends and public holidays
