You will be working as part of a team within the Business Intelligence department of this Global Insurance company, reporting to the Head of BI, through to the Chief Financial Officer.

The role will focus on leadership and support of the wider BI development team for the Chubb Overseas General and Global Finance Data Office groups.

Using your experience, influencing skills and relationships you will be expected to drive forward the excution of the BI team’s strategic goals and objectives; as well as move the team and our customers up the BI value chain.

You will be expected to create an organizational vision for your data products across multiple domains in line with the enterprise vision and strategic initiatives.

You will have an advanced knowledge of product development strategies, and a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-discipline solutions.

You will develop models and prototypes to provide observations, identify trends and patterns with leadership to assess potential solutions to business requirements. You will develop statistical models, algorithms needed for reporting and analytics with a high level of complexity.

You will have a good understanding and adhere to all data security policies and procedures.

This role includes overseeing development & support of solutions built across the breath of our toolset, including but not limited to QlikView, Qlik Sense, PowerBI and Full Stack Web Application technologies. You may be a manager of your own team as well as expected to support others.

You will be enthusiastic about engineering quality and you will drive best practice at all levels. You understand what makes effective BI and how to deliver it for our customers.

Stakeholder management and building relationships across the organisation will be essential in this role.

Strong communication skills are a necessity, as is the ability to deal with a certain level of ambiguity, shifting priorities, and adapting to user feedback. Your excellent project management skills will be useful here.

Insurance industry knowledge is highly preferred.

- Develop product and project plans to ensure milestones are delivered timely within budget constraints.
- Lead the processes to manage data product through lifecycle with focus on development, piloting, marketing/promoting, launching, managing and retirement.
- Develop data product roadmap with milestones, timelines and deliverables
- Lead cross functional teams to adapt/align to data product roadmap and achieving related goals
- Develop and lead training and education in effective use of data products and related services
- Enable feedback loop through surveys, tend analysis to improve data product functionalities and develop new capabilities

**Requirements**:

- Minimum at least 10 years’ experience in developing and/or managing complex Business Intelligence solutions across multiple technologies
- Minimum at least 5 years’ experience with product development and leading development teams
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, Databricks, Snowflake)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to research, assess and develop observations/findings
- Ability to provide clear direction to data analyst teams
- Have strong demonstrable development experience in the specified technical areas listed above
- Ability to adapt to rapidly and constantly changing stakeholder requirements.
- Ability to formulate, recognise and implement strategic goals for the wider team
- Be a strong, supportive leader within the wider team
