Program Manager, Cost Estimating, Consolidation and

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management Quantity Surveying, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience with cost estimating, consolidation, and benchmarking of construction projects, evaluating construction project delivery health and supporting construction clients
- Experience developing Program Controls processes and implementations within CAPEX programs

Preferred qualifications:

- Master's degree or MBA with a technical emphasis
- Outstanding influencing skills and change management experience with the ability to successfully manage complexity and multiple priorities
- Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization with experience leading cross-functional process improvements and holding project leads accountable to all greater project goals
- Ability to shift between direct detailed analysis and big picture thinking and customizing communication based on the audience
- Excellent problem solving, verbal/written communication, and facilitation skills
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time

**About the job**:
The Google Data Centers (GDC) Program Controls team provide project teams with cost, schedule, process, information control expertise, and user based reporting systems to support the optimal delivery and operation of capital assets.

In this role, you'll own supporting the cost estimating, consolidation, and benchmarking of Google Data Center construction projects, forecasting the cost, and other resources needed to complete them within their defined scopes, while calibrating specific Data Center project parameters considering past historical cost outcomes.

You'll liaise with GDC teams, Regional Leads, Finance, Accounting, Tax, and vendors globally to ensure effective and assertive cost estimating, consolidation and benchmarking. In addition, you'll be responsible for working with global construction teams to assure projects are ready to deliver according to their plans.

- Design, document, and manage robust cost estimating, consolidation, and benchmarking processes
- Forecast the cost and other resources needed to complete Data Center construction projects within their defined scopes, while calibrating specific Data Center project parameters considering past historical cost outcomes
- Liaise with GDC teams, Finance, Tax, Accounting, and vendors globally to ensure effective standardization and implementation of cost cost estimating, consolidation, and benchmarking processes
- Build solid relationships with stakeholders and collaborate on the development of strategies which help support their business, identify opportunities for smarter supplier relationships and more efficient processes, and collaborate with teams across the globe to speed up innovation
