**Role Overview**
- Manage the financial operations and controls of the assigned Operating company
- Coordinate with operating company stakeholders and manage the performance of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)

**Key Areas of Responsibility**:

- Subject matter expert on General ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable of the assigned operating company: Thailand and Malaysia [FL1]
- Manage BPO to ensure that accounting bookings and records are accurately, timely maintained and meet key and critical performance indicators
- Responsible in judgemental journal entries and maintain balance sheet schedule and close month end closing and reporting per schedules
- Review all balances and ensure reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Ensure Internal Controls are adhered to base on the segregation of duties
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations (US GAAP, local fiscal and statutory regulations)
- Liaise with local offices (Thailand and Malaysia) and internal stakeholder to resolve any operational finance matters
- Responsible for statutory audit, tax filing and related tax payment to the authorities
- Liaise with Company Secretary on secretarial matters
- Render support and back up of other Asia regions when necessary

**Qualification / Experience**:

- Bachelor Degree in Finance or equivalent with Thailand Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- 5 years of experience in General Accounting (GA) function preferably from the Engineering related Industry
- Prior experience from Accounting Shared Service environment is an added advantage
- Working knowledge of accounting system SAP would be preferred
- Ability to work with matrix environment and collaborate with internal cross functional teams within the regions including BPO
- Bi-lingual in English and Thai (read, write, converse) in managing Thailand financials. Proficient in Bahasa Melayu will be an added advantage

[FL1]Review journal entries (SAP, IMAP) for non-judgement managed by infosys (adhoc, accrual, amortization, inter co reconciliation)

Judgemental: reviewed by Hub accountant eg: revenue, inventory, payroll, hedging

Work Arrangement : Onsite
