**Description of Division/Branch**

You will be part of the team which works closely with appointed KidSTART Social Service Agencies (SSAs), vendors, preschools, other KidSTART Singapore (KSL) Departments, community stakeholders and ECDA to support the implementation of KidSTART programmes, whilst developing an ecosystem of support for low-income families with young children.

A key role you have is to support in the intake, triaging and assessment of eligibility of families for KidSTART. This will involve processing referrals that come to KSL, checking and following up with referral agencies on any missing information, entering data into the required data systems, engaging families and referral agencies on questions relating to their eligibility and the programme, assessing and submitting appeals for decisons, responding to stakeholders on the outcomes of their referrals. This includes the development of SOPs/work processes and any required administrative work to support this.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify, assess and respond on the eligibility outcomes of families efficiently and effectively.
- Keep information on database up to date and accurate.
- Extract required data from system for purposes of reporting and analysis.
- Develop relevant SOPs to streamline intake and triaging workflows.
- Identify exceptional cases able to benefit from KidSTART and provide justifications for consideration.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
- Follow up on feedback received on referral processes and lapses.
- Knowledge of available community resources and able to direct referrers to appropriate resources (if required).
- Provide administrative support to facilitate smooth intake and processing of referrals received.

**Qualifications/ Competencies**
- Diploma in relevant field.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in call centre operations or in the processing of referrals received.
- Strong administrative skills & attention to details.
- Good communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Customer oriented and enjoys working with people.
- Works well in a fast paced start up environment and able to handle difficult stakeholders.
- Able to multi-task, prioritise and has good time management skills.
- Confident and collaborative team-player.
