**Job Description**:
- A regional role that focuses on risk managing APAC counterparty risk governance, counterparty risk portfolio management, CCP risk, special purpose entity (SPE) transactions, third-party distribution (3PD) platform, and equity capital market (ECM) activities.
- In addition to becoming an SME on the relevant specialties, you need to be familiar with BofA’s risk framework and understand the 7 risk types facing the bank. You will work closely with business and other support partners to identify key risk issues, raising challenges, and working on mitigations.
- Intellectual curiosity is the key to continuously seek understanding of transaction rationale, end-to-end mechanism, possible risk implications at each stage of the process, and potential mitigants.
- You will keep abreast of industry and regulatory changes impacting Bofa’s global markets franchise across jurisdictions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work with the business and support partners to mitigate the counterparty risk and approve structured derivative trades in line with the bank’s established policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular portfolio analysis, stress tests and sensitivity analysis on the counterparty risks.
- Participate in various New Product/Transaction approval forums with a view to highlight risk and approve deals from counterparty perspective.
- Participate in review and approval of the counterparty credit risk policies and procedures and suggest ways to improve the effectiveness as well as efficiency for new as well as existing products.
**Required Skills**:
Your background
- 5 to 8 years of experience preferred
- Familiar with Global Market products, especially derivatives
- Familiar with the credit analysis of financial institution in the Asia Pacific region. Exposure to Corporates is an added advantage
- Good presentation and credit writing skills
- Quantitative orientation in academics
- Familiar with Bloomberg
- Preferably data modeling skills (Excel/VBA)
- Have a positive orientation and an ability to work in a fast paced environment/multi-task under pressure
- Have a good academic record with commensurate graduate /post-graduate degrees from recognized institutions
