We are looking for experienced Senior Mechanical Engineers who likes to work in a fast-paced Engineering & Construction environment.

**Explore your tasks and responsibilities**:
- Taking the conceptual design through to implementation and handover;-
- Ensuring sustainability targets are incorporated into the design;-
- Producing the tender documentation, including project specifications and contract schedules such as Summary of Tender and Schedule of Rates;-
- Progressing the design in accordance with the Design Checklist;-
- Chairing Sub-contractor progress meetings;-
- Chairing Mechanical Department Client weekly Meetings;-
- Liaising with Quality Assurance / Quality Compliance Engineers to ensure they are aligned with the requirements of the specification;-
- Mentoring of an Engineer with the intent of securing properly trained personnel to ensure the continual expansion of the company;-
- Ensuring each System Supervisor is provided with the current and applicable shop and space management drawings;-
- Ensuring the System Supervisor is fully briefed on the awarded scope of work, the tender technical documents and all contractual revisions to tender documentation;-
- In the absence of a Project based Lead Engineer, the Senior Engineer shall assume the role and responsibilities assigned to the Lead Engineer position;-
- In the absence of a Project based Engineer, the Senior Engineer shall assume the role and responsibilities assigned to the Engineer position.**Show your expertise**:
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an appropriate field-
- 6 - 8 years of relevant experience with design experience desired-
- Experience with design and construction preferably in industrial buildings-
