**Job Category**:Technology**Job Type**:Full Time**Job Location**:SingaporeMenrva Search is looking for a highly motivated Principal Infrastructure Engineer for one of its established security platform provider clients in Singapore. You will be leading the design, implementation and maintenance of the VMWare and AWS based hybrid infrastructure. You must have proven knowledge of system administration and engineering, with an automation first mindset.

**Main Objectives of the Role**:

- Ensure hybrid cloud infrastructure of the business is reliable, available, scalable and secure by taking charge of its design, implementation and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain a Kubernetes container platform, including designing the architecture, selecting the appropriate tools and technologies and implementing the migration plan.
- Develop and implement automation tools and processes to streamline manual tasks and improve efficiency.
- Keep abreast of the latest technology trends to mentor the team as a technical leader, providing guidance and support on complex technical issues and best practices and make infrastructure improvement recommendations.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure seamless integration of infrastructure with other systems by monitor system performance and proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Verify that infrastructure meets industry best practices and compliance requirements, including SOC2 and ISO.

**Core Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in system administration and engineering, with a focus on hybrid cloud and container platforms.
- Expertise in Kubernetes container platform, including designing and implementing Kubernetes clusters and working with container orchestration tools such as Docker Swarm or AWS ECS.
- An automation first mentality with extensive experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, as well as networking and security concepts.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and lead technical teams is a must.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is essential.
- Experience with compliance requirements, such as SOC2 and ISO, is preferred.
