We are looking for a talented and motivated Drafter cum Quantity Surveyor to join our team and play a key role in the successful execution of our construction projects.

As a Drafter cum Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for producing detailed drawings and assisting in the management of project costs for construction projects in Singapore. You will play a crucial role in ensuring project accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and timely completion. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent drafting skills, and a deep understanding of quantity surveying principles.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Drafting:

- Create detailed architectural and engineering drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop accurate and comprehensive drawings.
- Ensure that all drawings comply with local building codes and regulations.

2. Quantity Surveying:

- Prepare and maintain accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction materials and labor.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor project budgets and assist in cost control.

3. Project Support:

- Work closely with project managers and engineers to provide technical support.
- Participate in site visits to assess construction progress and document changes.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports and documentation.

4. Contract Administration:

- Assist in the preparation of contracts, tenders, and subcontractor agreements.
- Evaluate and review bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Track and manage contract variations and change orders.

5. Cost Management:

- Monitor and track project costs, including procurement and expenditure.
- Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts to ensure projects are within budget.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify cost reduction and cost recovery opportunities.
- Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and building codes in Singapore.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of quantity surveying principles and cost estimation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant work experience in construction projects in Singapore is a plus.
