Application Project Manager

**Project Manager - Application Development**

Project Manager shall be the main Point of Contact of the project team and be overall responsible for the delivery of the project.

He/she will ensure the progress of various development tracks, actively perform risk management, conduct checkpoint reviews for updates to the Customer and ensure the timely and quality delivery of all deliverables. He/she shall be the contact point for all matters

throughout the development and implementation of the project.

The Project Manager shall provide monthly progress report and fortnightly status report

of the project to Customer and be present at all Steering Committee meetings to report

the progress and status of the project. Each progress and status update shall mínimally

include project status and upcoming activities, critical path analysis and risk reviews.

**The Project Manager shall have the following qualifications/experience**:
a. At least Ten (10) years of project management experience in delivering digital innovation Application development projects. He/she must have managed large scale projects of total contract value of USD 20+M.

b. Demonstrated excellent planning and management skills.

c. Demonstrated excellent supervisory skills and communicates (both written and

verbal) clearly and effectively with the team and the Customer.

d. Possess strong customer empathy.

f. Demonstrated ability to propose cost-effective solution to the Customer.

g. Possess a relevant degree in IT/computer science related discipline.

h. Possess PMP certification.

i. Scrum master certification will be an added advantage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Able to manage large scale Application development projects (mainly Java based) in Agile Scrum methodology.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- The Project Manager shall monitor and effectively manage any subcontractor that has been selected in the discharge of their duties to meet the requirements established. All matters that require interface between the subcontractor(s) shall be coordinated by The Supplier's Project Manager to ensure harmony in the relationship among all parties concerned and to establish a common understanding of Customer’s requirements.
- The Project Manager shall ensure that activities carried out for the System shall be properly managed and coordinated by the team, causing no disruption to the business operations.
- Multiple project teams managing various scopes of works are expected to work concurrently. The Project Manager shall ensure that the works from the various teams are aligned and able to integrate when pieced together.
- The Project Manager shall maintain the Maintenance and Support Plan to keep it relevant and up to date.
- The Project Manager shall lead, supervise and oversee the day-to-day activities of the team and to ensure specified deliverable milestones and service levels are met.
- The Project Manager shall ensure that activities carried out for the system shall be properly managed and coordinated by the team, causing no disruption to business operations.
- The Project Manager shall prepare monthly progress and status reports, supplementary documentation, and if applicable, performance/fault analysis report required by the Customer.
- The Project Manager shall maintain records of all development and maintenance activities including proper accounting and administrative records of all services performed during the contractual period.
