Food Science Internship

We are a local snack manufacturing company established in 2017, and are looking for food science interns to assist in the development and quality control of our snacks. With our small company size, Interns will have the flexibility to execute their ideas and gain lots of hands-on experience.
**Responsibilities**:
Recipe Fine-Tuning: Experiment with different ingredients, formulations, and processing techniques to optimize the look, taste and shelf life of our products.
Assist in Food Safety Manuals Update: Support our food safety team in updating our current Food Safety manuals and procedures.
Product Testing at our Factory: Conduct tests at our production line. Evaluate the effectiveness of your recommendations and fine tune them accordingly.
Working days and hours:
- Flexible, as long as objectives are met
- Work from home by default
- Only required to go to the factory when doing product testing
**Requirements**:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with the ability to conduct experiments, analyze data, and draw meaningful insights
- Willingness to work independently and take initiative, with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
- Having a good sense of taste is a plus
**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 2-6 months
Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,600.00 per month
