**Your day at NTT DATA**

The PMO has knowledge of methodologies (Agile, traditional), risk management, budgeting, and change control.

**What you'll be doing**

**Education**:

- A degree in **Business Administration**, **Project Management**, **Information Technology**, or a related field is commonly required.
- ** Project Management certifications** are often beneficial, such as:

- ** PMP (Project Management Professional)**:

- ** PRINCE2** (Projects in Controlled Environments)
- ** PMI-ACP** (Agile Certified Practitioner)
- ** PMO certifications** like P3O (Portfolio, Programme, and Project Offices).

**Mid-Level (PMO Analyst/PMO Lead)**:

- ** 5+ years** of experience working within a PMO, with a good understanding of project management frameworks and best practices.
- Experience in overseeing **project governance**, ensuring projects adhere to organizational standards, processes, and methodologies.
- Competence in **reporting on project performance** and metrics, identifying risks, and managing project budgets.
- Experience in **supporting project managers** by providing tools, templates, and methodologies to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Experience with **resource management**, ensuring optimal allocation and tracking of project resources.

**Core Responsibilities Experience**:
**Governance and Frameworks**:

- Experience in setting up and maintaining the governance structure for projects.
- Knowledge of risk management, ensuring consistent reporting and monitoring of project risks and issues.
- Familiarity with both traditional and agile project management methodologies and frameworks.

**Reporting and Metrics**:

- Involvement in creating, analyzing, and distributing key performance metrics (KPIs) for projects.
- Ability to create detailed status reports and communicate effectively to different stakeholders, including project teams, senior management, and external partners.

**Toolset Proficiency**:

- Proficiency in project management tools: MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint
- Ability to design or enhance templates and reporting structures to improve PMO efficiency.

**Process Improvement**:

- Proven experience in identifying gaps in project delivery processes and recommending improvements for efficiency and consistency.

**Skills Required**:
**Project Management Expertise**: Knowledge of methodologies (Agile, traditional), risk management, budgeting, and change control.

**Governance & Compliance**: Enforcing standards, ensuring process compliance, and documentation.

**Reporting & Analytics**: Data analysis, performance tracking, and generating reports.

**Leadership**: Team guidance, stakeholder management, and decision-making.

**Communication**: Clear reporting, conflict resolution, and presentations.

**Tool Proficiency**: Expertise in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).

**Organizational Skills**: Time, resource, and task management.

**Risk & Issue Management**: Proactively addressing risks and issues.

**Adaptability**: Flexibility in fast-changing environments.
