Min 2-3 years in similar function/s
- Proficient in technical engineering, problem diagnosis and resolution
- Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems
- Experience of contractor / vendor management
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
- Multi skilled in basic electrical and/or mechanical disciplines
- Experience fault finding within MHE/Automation systems
- Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters
- Basic workshop skills
- Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work shifts in a 24/7 environment
- Good command in Windows environment (MS office)

Job summary
We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join our team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician. The focus of the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician role is to ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to, to ensure preventative maintenance is conducted on time to a high standard and to provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement. This role includes working in non-traditional shift pattern, which may include nights and weekends.

Key job responsibilities
- Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected stakeholders and work efficiently to fix the issue.
- Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the RME area manager and/or RME Planner.
- Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
- Support and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians.
- Supervise contractors during the execution phases
- Project and Task Management (Scheduling & Prioritization)
- Resource planning and leveling for maximum productive output
- Asset and spares management
- Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng
- Experience of high voltage switching
- Experience of sortation machines
- LEW will be an advantage
