**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee Sourcing Team for driving strategic sourcing initiatives and supply chain best practices across the Company to maximize PerkinElmer’s material cost productivity
- Responsible for the development and implementation of short and long term sourcing strategies
- Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing supply base for PCBAs, Electrical Components, Electrical Box Build, Transformers and others. This will involve initial supplier survey, qualification and risk assessment of new suppliers
- Drive cost deflation and avoidance through negotiations, supplier process, productivity improvements and value engineering
- Participate in Product Transfer ensuring all sourcing related matters are planned and executed in a timely manner
- Negotiate supplier contractual terms & conditions including long term agreements
- Manage and co-ordinate early supplier involvement in New Product Introduction projects from parts design stage through mass production, ensuring critical timelines are met.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent
- At least 8 to 10 years procurement experience in a manufacturing environment with 5 years in leadership position
- Experience in Project Management will be an advantage
- Strong analytical & interpersonal skills
- Strong bias for action and results oriented
- Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive accountability
- Demonstrated experience driving cross functional collaboration across business units and geographies
- Good supplier networking that enables quickly identifying and on-boarding external capabilities.
