**BLACKBOX - DECISION SCIENCE SOLUTIONS SPECIALISTS**

**ACCOUNTANT**

**Summary of Responsibilities**

We are looking for an Accountant responsible for Blackbox’s daily financial transactions, including performing General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliations. and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year to support Blackbox optimize its positioning and building strong perspectives to clients.

We also monitor emerging trends both regionally and globally with the main aim of signalling potential changes of significance before they happen or flagging the implications of today’s decisions for the future.

The incumbent should possess strong analytical skills with prior experience with bookkeeping and have a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager, the incumbent is expected to:

- Handle all accounting processes and tasks, provide guidance to Finance Assistant, including verify and process all vendor bills and staff reimbursement. Liaise with vendors on payment status when necessary.
- Work with internal stakeholders and clients on Account Receivable, bank deposits and following up on incoming receipts, overdue receivables, and ensuring timeliness, and accuracy of invoicing.
- Process payment fortnightly and credit card expenses listings to management for approval and authorization.
- Serve as a gatekeeper to finance, including monitor bank balances and assist in cash flow projection, such as billing forecast.
- Process overseas contractors and interns’ fees.
- Liaise with external parties such as external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax, and government authorities where required
- Assist in the year-end statutory audit and support auditors’ queries
- Assist in project accounting

**Critical Technical, Professional and Personal Capabilities**
- Degree in Accountancy or relevant Professional Qualification
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years of handling full set accounting
- Prior experience the Market Research Industry using QuickBooks and Salesforce will be an added advantage
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
- Well organized, detailed-oriented, strong ability to multi-task with great follow-up skill
- Self-motivated, positive working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity
- Adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with due diligence in accounting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to deal with and articulate complex information in a clear and understandable way

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $6,500.00 per month
