**Job purpose**

The Network Engineer is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/ configuration, operation, and maintenance of Network and WAN infrastructure. Given the critical nature of network infrastructure, this role requires standby for maintenance work.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Providing day-to-day network management services for all offices, including two onsite locations in Singapore and remote support for Malaysia, and work-from-home networks.
- Administering, configuring, and managing network equipment, software, accounts, and related tools to ensure optimal network performance and uptime.
- Conducting thorough testing and verification at the end of all network changes to minimize adverse impacts and ensure full uptime.
- Managing and maintaining up-to-date configuration documentation for all network assets, including inventory management, asset additions/replacements/decommissioning, and spare inventory movement.
- Providing facilities management support for network rooms, including physical access control, utilities management, vendor escort and supervision, equipment maintenance and expiry alerts, and equipment relocation.
- Monitoring network performance daily, conducting monthly utilization analysis, and conducting half-yearly design reviews with trend analysis.
- Providing fault and security management on all network equipment to ensure maximum network uptime and security.
- Gathering business requirements with guidance from the venue sales and commercial teams to provide event tech support during related event activities.
- Fulfilment of special report requests (internal and external audit, regulatory as required)
- Supports the technology risk assessments, penetration tests, including vulnerability assessment & remediation

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experiences
- Professional certification: CCNA preferred
- Hands-On experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet etc will be advantageous
- Familiarity of ITIL process e.g. Change Management will be advantageous
- Solid understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP, also include LAN, DHCP, L3 VPN, L2 VPN, VPLS) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP)
