Assistant Food Technologist

Inspire Healthcare (IHC), parent company of Inspire Food Lab is a total solution provider that focuses on healthcare solutions integrated with AI, health-related food products and nutraceuticals. We aim to help people prevent and manage chronic lifestyle diseases such as diabetes and risk of heart diseases.
We are searching for an experienced and energetic food technologist to join our team. The Assistant Food Technologist will be required to support product, packaging and process development. You will be assisting the food technologist in the creation of healthier food products and meals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Formulate healthier recipes for food products and meals that comply with cost, product design, regulatory and sensory requirements.
- Assist in ingredient development and execution of related laboratory activities.
- Participate in experimental trials and record test and development data throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Prepare samples, standards and solutions for testing of new products.
- Gather sensory testing and consumer data for further product refinements.
- Works in improving the formulation and stability properties for the suite products.
- Assist in promoting our ingredients and capabilities (events, trade organization educational sessions).
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in food science/ food technology or related discipline
- 1 - 2 year’s relevant working experience in the food and beverage industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Meticulous, a critical thinker with outstanding interpersonal skills
- Self-starter attitude, strong sense of ownership
