Production-cum-dry Provisions Packer

1. **Basic Function**

Responsible for the daily picking and packing of dry provisions for allocated customer orders, and preparation and storage of various dry/powder condiments in accordance to specified standards.

2. **Job Function**

2.1 Responsible for handling daily allotment of customer orders with dry provisions.

2.2 Responsible for picking respective customer Delivery Order, picking and packing of various dry provisions, labelling them clearly and ensuring they are not expired.

2.3 Responsible for ensuring all Quality Checks on goods before packing.

2.4 Ensure all loose dry provisions are kept neat and tidy, and in accordance to established food & hygiene standards.

2.5 Responsible in performing ad-hoc/daily stock count of the various items in the Dry Provisions store.

2.6 Upon verification of balance stock at end of each shift, to report to the Shift Supervisor / Assistant Shift Supervisor and to enter (in a timely and accurate manner) into the system.

2.7 To prepare and produce powder condiments (by grinding, crushing etc).

2.8 Ensure all powdered provisions are labelled clearly with production and expiry date.

2.9 Ensure all powdered provisions are stored in the correct conditions and in compliance with established food & hygiene standards, to prolong shelf-life.

2.10 Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

3 **Knowledge (Critical Success Factors)**
- Prior knowledge/handling of various dry condiments will be an advantage
- First-In-First-Out (FIFO) process
- Handling of machinery
- Storage requirements and dry provisions properties (to prolong shelf-life)

**4** **Other Skills / Attributes**
- Basic literacy skills (read/write) in English and Mandarin (to liase with Mandarin & non-Mandarin speaking colleagues)
- Physically fit (able to handle 5KG sacks of dry provisions)
- Possess valid Forklift (5Tons) license will be an added advantage
- Able to multi-task
- Team player, yet able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Quick learner
- Eye for details and accuracy

Remuneration will commensurate with experience, On-the-Job Training shall be provided.

**Salary**: $2,000.00 - $2,300.00 per month
