**A Snapshot**

As Security Commissioning Manager, based in our HQ in Sydney or Melbourne, you will report to the Director, Security and work closely with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region, making your mark in a number of ways:

- Ensure AirTrunk data centres maintain a high level of security across APJ by leading and advising on security commissioning, asset management, maintenance specifications, design documentation and systems upgrades/reviews.
- Ensure all security systems meet AirTrunk and our customers standards requirements through rigorous testing and validation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant, and operationally effective environments with mínimal defects.

**Your Day to Day**
- Document and implement security commissioning and inspection and test plan requirements for data centres and corporate offices across APJ.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans for physical security systems including but not limited to perimeter detection systems, access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection systems.
- Review and validate security system designs and installations against AirTrunk and customer specifications.
- Conduct functional testing, performance verification, and system integration assessments.
- Document commissioning results and provide detailed reports for handover to operations and customers.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and integrators to ensure timely and compliant progress for security installation and programming across data centre projects.
- Support the resolution of technical issues during commissioning and defects periods and escalate risks where necessary.
- Develop security maintenance plans and specifications and contribute as a security SME to tenders and pre-qualifications for security systems maintenance providers.
- Implementing whole-of-life and asset management strategies for security systems.
- Support data centre operations teams and the Security Systems Engineer with the resolution of security system incidents.
- Develop security design standards for data centres and corporate offices across APJ.
- Develop a security system build guide to document how new projects security systems software should be set up and configured for operators.
- Manage large-scale security system upgrades for operational data centres across APJ.
- Liaise with customers local and regional security teams to resolve security system matters/incidents.
- Inspect security system installations and programming at data centres and corporate offices for compliance with AirTrunk, AirTrunk customer and government security standards.
- Review and respond to security related elements of customer RFPs, contracts, questionnaires and other requests for our APJ data centres.
- Provide security system training, mentoring and coaching to data centre and corporate office security teams as required.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships across all sites in APJ.
- Attend, engage and collaborate in customer and security team meetings.
- Assist with presentations to customers and collaborate with customers, vendors and suppliers to achieve security outcomes.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in physical security system commissioning, preferably in data centres or critical infrastructure.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, security technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of integrated security systems and commissioning methodologies.
- Experience with security auditing, testing, and compliance verification.
- Familiarity with building codes and security regulations.
- Competent written, verbal and data presentation skills in English.
- Well-developed communication, collaboration, influence and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced changing environment and work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience influencing security teams, vendors, management, and contractors.
- Ability and flexibility to travel across APJ region.
