**What the role is**
- The Industry and Business Transformation (IBT) department will develop strategies to improve the resilience and sustainability of the arts sector, including arts organisations and Self-Employed Persons (SEPs). The department works with partners from both within and outside the arts sector to drive and support the sector’s transformation efforts, which may include enabling artists and arts companies to digitalise and monetise their works, and building stronger organisational capabilities that can help them to continue achieving professional excellence and meeting arts consumers’ needs. The role will support the department in the driving of policy, strategic initiatives and programmes that contribute to the transformation of the arts sector.

**What you will be working on**
- Support the formulation and implementation of strategies, policies and plans in collaboration with sector partners and stakeholders, to drive the transformation and development of the sector. - Support IBT initiatives which entail strategic and policy planning, stakeholder management, grant assessment, and preparing for discussions with senior management, various ministries and statutory boards, cultural institutions, internal and external stakeholders, on business transformation and sector transformation. - Coordinate and execute administrative and programme management responsibilities that support IBT’s projects, including management of procurement and payment processing, logístical set up for events and engagement sessions, grant administration, administrative tasks related to meetings, scheduling, preparation of reports, presentations, meeting materials and data management, and assisting with budget reports. - Conduct benchmarking and research to support the development of strategies and policies. - Communication and liaison with departments within NAC and external stakeholders in the arts sector, in adjacent sectors, and those outside the arts and creative sectors to do the above.

**What we are looking for**
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in areas like strategy and policy development, and project implementation. - Experience in the arts sector, and/or business transformation and industry development work is preferred. - A good and relevant degree. - Strong analytical and communication skills. - Good engagement and interpersonal skills - able to communicate and engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and be professional when interfacing with them. - Good at multi-tasking and project management. - Experience with IT tools, social media and other digital communication platforms for public engagement and outreach is preferred.
