Senior Specialist Audit

In this role, you will be under the direction of the Client Audit Director ("CAD") and the Auditor-in-Charge ("AIC"). You will be responsible to provide value-added independent and risk-based audit and assurance services. **WHAT YOU WILL DO** - You will participate in the execution of financial, operational, SOX 404 and IT audits, integrated audits and process audits, both domestic and abroad to maintain a strong internal control environment at MSD. - On occasion, the incumbent will be expected to lead small teams of auditors audits with limited management supervision in addition to actively performing audit work. - Under the direction of the AIC, partner with colleagues and clients, support groups, and other organizations to effectively complete all assigned audit work. - You will execute audit programs and work papers (including walkthroughs and sample testing) in line with the established quality standards and timelines. - You will collaborate with the audit team in the writing of audit summaries of issues and reports which accurately describe identified control concerns, associated risks, and appropriate recommendations - You will participate in department projects and ensure the realization of the specified results. - You will maintain the highest standards of professionalism and independence in the execution of duties with the highest level of integrity and quality. Show good judgment in the conduct of work. **WHAT YOU MUST HAVE** To be successful in this role, you will have strong business and finance acumen also: - A Degree in accounting/finance. - A minimum of 4 years of Audit experience (internal audit and / or public accounting). - CPA or pursuing a CPA is preferred - You have worked across the Big 4 or Regional Accounting Firm Experience. - Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with client and business process owners as well as audit colleagues. A strong time management skill and the ability to work within a team as well as independently. - You have strong attention to details and the ability to multi-task are essential to this position. - You have the flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally up to 40% of the time. **WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT** You can expect to be involved in projects for Audit across the business through consultative partnership with the whole regional team. **WHO WE ARE** Organon delivers ingenious health solutions that enable people to live their best lives.
