**Overview**

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
Equipment Maintenance:

- To perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and able to repair variety of equipment’s including mechanical and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot a range of basic to complex problems and implement appropriate solutions to restore equipment functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
- Perform preventive maintenance work assigned.

Facility Upkeep:

- Monitor and maintain building systems such as lighting, and security systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility, safety hazards, and cleanliness concerns.
- Coordinate and the ability to perform a range of basic to complex repairs and adjustments to maintain a safe and well-maintained working environment.
- Minimize downtime due to equipment breakdown.

Safety and Compliance:

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks to ensure the safety of oneself and others.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to address safety and compliance concerns promptly.

Equipment Installation and Calibration:

- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment, machinery, or systems.
- Calibrate and fine-tune equipment to ensure accurate operation and optimal performance.
- Support basic to intermediate process modification and project.

Inventory Management:

- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for routine maintenance and repairs.
- Works with Maintenance inventory and facility team to order and restock supplies as needed to minimize downtime.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to address complex maintenance issues and projects.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and management regarding maintenance status, updates, and recommendations.

Training and Development:

- To provide training for new and unskilled technician
- Mentor and train junior technicians

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum O level or equivalent; diploma/certificate or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
- Flexibility to work on-call or during off-hours, if necessary
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Words, PowerPoint, familiar with CMMS
- Good report writing skills.
- Proactive work attitude.
