Position SummaryJoin Mizuho Bank Singapore as our Head of System Risk Management and play a pivotal role in safeguarding the bank's technology landscape. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, Head of IT Security & Risk Management, you will be the principal advisor and leader for technology risk, shaping risk strategy and ensuring regulatory excellence. This is an exceptional opportunity to influence senior management, drive innovation, and lead high-impact initiatives in a global financial institution. 2. Job Responsibilities Lead and manage the first line of defense for technology risk across the Singapore branch. Advise senior management and technology teams on risk management strategies, emerging threats, and regulatory compliance. Design, implement, and enhance robust risk management frameworks in line with MAS Notices, NIST CSF, and global best practices. Conduct comprehensive IT risk assessments and control testing, ensuring effective mitigation of real-world system risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a proactive risk culture and continuous improvement. Stay ahead of regulatory developments and industry trends, providing thought leadership and expert guidance. Job Requirements 3. Job Requirements Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in technology risk management and/or IT audit within the financial services industry. Strong knowledge of IT regulatory requirements, especially MAS guidelines and NIST CSF. Proven expertise in conducting IT risk assessments and implementing effective controls. Relevant certifications such as CRISC, CGEIT, CISSP, and/or CISA are highly preferred. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering or a related discipline. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Passion for innovation, strategic thinking, and driving organizational change.
