Why Join
Gain a broad understanding of risk governance and policy development within a leading financial institution. As a Group Risk Policy Intern within Group Risk Management, you'll be at the heart of ensuring OCBC's risk management framework is robust, consistent, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

To thrive in this role, you'll need a proactive attitude, a strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. You'll excel at collaborating with various stakeholders, learning quickly, and contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of our risk policy framework.
What you do
You'll be directly involved in:
- Supporting the Group Policy Manager in Group-wide policy management matters.
- Assisting with the organization and facilitation of policy management forums.
- Maintaining the policy inventory to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Supporting the policy attestation process to confirm adherence to established guidelines.
- Contributing to policy writing initiatives, assisting with research and drafting of policy documents.
- Developing a high-level understanding of banking and risk management principles through practical experience.
- Networking with key stakeholders across the organization.

The team supports good decision-making with strong risk analysis and plays a crucial role in sharpening our competitive edge. Optimizing risk-adjusted returns, seeking and adopting best-in-class practices, protecting the group from unforeseen losses, and keeping risk within appetite are all key responsibilities.
Who you are
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree.
- Demonstrates a strong interest in banking and risk management.
- Possesses excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A proactive and collaborative team player with a strong attention to detail.
- Eager to learn about policy development and governance.
