We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an IFRS17 Senior Actuary. In this role you will Reporting to the Head of Corporate Actuarial. Responsible for managing the team members working on the IFRS17 production in coordination with the other team lead, with a primary focus on ensuring high quality production and explanation of the results Support the Head of Corporate Actuarial in working closing with the Finance team to ensure timely production of analytical review of the monthly and quarterly production Liaise with the other actuarial teams (including Appointed Actuary, Pricing) on topics such as assumptions settings, new products inclusion in IFRS17 framework Provide support ad-hoc to the Chief Actuary on other corporate actuarial topics Works closely with the regional office, external actuarial consultants, internal & external auditors and regulators, ensuring adherence to the HSBC guidelines and statutory regulations To be successful you will need Qualified Actuary from a recognized Actuarial examination body Extensive actuarial background with strong experience in IFRS17 reporting In depth experience with reporting processes and the reporting control environment Experience in Singapore regulatory regime is an advantage Strong communication & presentation skills Opening up a world of opportunity www.hsbc.com/careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
