Integration Lead

Company Profile MIZUHO IS UNDERTAKING A MULTI-YEAR REGIONAL TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM FOR ITS ASIA PACIFIC BUSINESS AND IS SEEKING TO HIRE AN INTEGRATION LEAD TO SUPPORT THE DELIVERY OF INTEGRATION OF CORE BANKING SYSTEM-RELATED PROJECTS AND TASKS ACROSS THE REGION. THE INTEGRATION LEAD WILL PLAY A CRITICAL ROLE IN DESIGNING AND LEADING THE STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT OF INTEGRATION PLATFORMS, ENSURING THEIR STABILITY, SCALABILITY, AND SECURITY TO MEET THE UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS OF FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS, INCLUDING HIGH AVAILABILITY, COMPLIANCE, AND ROBUST SECURITY STANDARDS. Job Responsibilities Platform Strategy and Planning Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for Integration platforms (Boomi, Axway SecureTransport, IBM MQ, etc.) that aligns with the organization's financial and business goals. Collaborate closely with Domain Heads and other stakeholders to gather requirements, refine strategies, and ensure platform operations meet business needs. Evaluate and recommend technologies and solutions to enhance platform performance, scalability, and security. Plan for future capacity requirements to support business growth and evolving infrastructure needs. Platform Management and Optimization Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Integration platforms, including operating systems, hardware, and software. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of critical systems. Optimize platforms for performance, cost efficiency, and resource utilization to support business-critical applications. Security and Compliance Ensure mid-range platforms comply with financial industry regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOX, GDPR) and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001). Implement and maintain robust security measures, including patch management, access controls, and vulnerability assessments. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, ensuring secure and compliant operations. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Develop, test, and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) plans for mid-range platforms. Ensure DR and BC plans meet financial industry standards for Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO). Coordinate regular disaster recovery drills and refine plans based on lessons learned to ensure readiness. Team Leadership Lead and mentor a team of integration engineers and administrators, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities. Ensure the team delivers high-quality and timely solutions to support business objectives. Vendor and Stakeholder Management Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure high-quality and cost-effective services. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, security, and business units, to align platform operations with organizational goals. Communicate platform performance, risks, and initiatives to senior leadership and Domain Heads. Innovation and Continuous Improvement Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in midrange platforms and the financial industry. Identify opportunities for automation, virtualization, and other innovations to improve efficiency, performance, and scalability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform operations and support organizational transformation goals. Job Requirements This role requires a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and frequent collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Domain Heads, to align platform strategies and operations with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate expertise in driving innovation and continuous improvement to support business-critical applications in a regulated environment.
