Associate Finance Specialist

Our client is a mid-sized European Bank and is currently seeking a Finance Associate to join the team. Some of the key responsibilities include: Maintain accurate accounts, handle month- and year-end closings, prepare financial statements, reconcile key accounts, assess new policies or products, support tax work, and use accounting systems efficiently. Prepare and submit regulatory and statistical reports, ensure compliance, keep stakeholders informed, and assess impacts of new policies and products. Prepare tax schedules and transfer pricing documents, coordinate with tax agents and authorities on submissions and queries, and assess the tax impact of new policies and products when needed. Coordinate annual audits, address auditor queries and findings, strengthen internal controls to prevent issues, and resolve any audit-related deficiencies. To be eligible for this role you will require: Minimum of 5 years of finance and accounting experience in Bank or financial services company A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business. CA/ CPA with be highly desirable Candidates straight of a BIG 4 firm with audit experience in financial services shall be considered. Confident to work independently and liaise with multiple stakeholders across the board. Good excel skills for preparation of relevant financial reports.
