As a Business Management Unit/System Support & Analytics Intern, you'll directly impact our front office trading and sales teams. You'll gain hands-on experience applying your technical skills to real-world challenges, contributing to efficient operations and insightful data-driven decisions. You'll need to translate data into clear, actionable insights, and contribute to both the daily operations and long-term automation initiatives of the team. What you do You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including: Developing solutions using Excel VBA and Python to address trading and sales desk needs. Building interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualise key performance indicators. Extracting and analysing data using SQL and other data visualisation tools. Monitoring Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tasks and assisting with testing & quality assurance. Supporting special project initiatives focused on process design and automation. Who you work with OCBC Global Markets encompasses Treasury Advisory and Institutional Sales, Asset Liability Management, Trading, and Business Management. All working together, offering services that enable efficient business operations and enabling customers to focus on growth. Who you are Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Technically proficient in Excel VBA, Python, and Power BI. Demonstrated skills in data analytics and visualisation (SQL, Tableau, etc.). Possess a knack for storytelling with data and translating numbers into insights. A proactive learner with a strong attention to detail.
