Job Responsibilities
  1. Manage overall profitability of product lines including Unit Trusts, FX, DCIs, Bonds, Structured Notes, Equities, Portfolio Financing, and Reverse Repo.
  2. Develop and oversee investment product strategy, identify market trends, and collaborate with internal and external teams, including the CIO.
  3. Act as the primary contact for external product partners and assess product viability.
  4. Oversee projects, client seminars, and investment meetings.
  5. Monitor market landscape to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate threats.
  6. Manage holistic product offerings, pricing, marketing, MIS, and distribution strategies.
  7. Recommend and implement process improvements, collaborating with stakeholders like Sales Governance and Digital teams.
  8. Coordinate with various SG Branch stakeholders and Group to support business needs.
  9. Prepare and present papers to SG and Group Committees.
  10. Prioritize digital migration of investment products to enhance channels and grow investment penetration by 25% over 3 years.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Manage profitability of investment and credit products linked to Wealth Management.
  2. Ensure competitiveness and innovation in products and channels.
  3. Develop and review annual business plans.
  4. Identify and onboard new investment products for sales and distribution.
  5. Expand product management ideas regionally and through cross-border referrals.
  6. Improve business processes and resource utilization.
  7. Drive product adoption through traditional and digital channels, including online sales targets.
  8. Lead digital enhancement projects and market outlook events.
  9. Collaborate with Investment Counsellors to generate product ideas, training, and client engagement activities.
People Management
  1. Oversee the investment product management team.
  2. Develop and lead a cohesive team, participate in hiring, coaching, and performance evaluation.
Regulatory Compliance
  1. Ensure due diligence on investment products before launch and proper documentation of SOPs.
  2. Adhere to risk management policies and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8-10 years banking experience, with at least 3 years in product management
  • CMFAS 1B, 5, 6, 6A, 8, & 8A certifications
  • CFA or CFP preferred
