About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced MindSpace After School Care Teacher to join our team in the West Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing engaging and enriching learning experiences in Mathematics and Chinese for primary school students. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our students' academic and personal development.

What you'll be doing

  1. Plan and deliver interactive and age-appropriate lessons in Mathematics and Chinese for primary school students
  2. Implement effective teaching strategies to help students develop their subject knowledge and skills
  3. Provide individualised support and guidance to students to ensure their academic progress
  4. Collaborate with the broader MindSpace team to develop engaging extracurricular activities and programs
  5. Maintain accurate records of student progress and regularly communicate with parents/guardians
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the MindSpace After School Care program

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Education, with a focus on teaching primary school Mathematics and/or Chinese
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience teaching primary school students, preferably in an after-school or enrichment setting
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
  4. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to address the diverse needs of students
  5. Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young learners
  6. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
