We are seeking a diligent and detailed-oriented Test Engineer to join our team.  As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring repeatability and reliability of the testing results for PDK development and customer testing service.  You will be responsible for establishing test plans and procedures. You will work closely with designers, to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues through the development lifecycle.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for test and characterize optoelectronics devices at chip and wafer level by following process documentation and equipment operating instructions.
  • Analyze the data, generate the test reports with measurement results and hold reviews with related stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Support for new test capability setup, prepare documentation to standardize the new test procedure.
  • Collaborate with project team to ensure device meets specification and verify device's performance.
  • Support the adaptation of equipment from hands-on process measurement to high-volume automatic manufacturing test platforms.
  • Support tool maintenance, new equipment /miscellaneous part purchase.
  • Support the test tool efficiency improvement project through testing automation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project progress and/or the specific goals of the company.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical and Electronics or BEng (Electronic/Optical/) or BSc (Physics) and above
  • Practical knowledge and understanding of test instrument for optical and electrical test, understanding of high-speed RF test will be added advantage.
  • Excellent problems solving skills and good at data review and summary.
  • Preferred 1 year of hands-on experience in optoelectronics test in laboratory or manufacture line.
  • Preferred hands-on experience on high-speed component characterization and testing.
  • Preferred Good Knowledge in C/C++ programming, Matlab, Labview, and Python.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
