Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Speech and Drama lessons to children using a play-based and child-led approach.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages creative expression, confidence, and teamwork.
  • Use storytelling, improvisation, role-play, and performance techniques to develop students' communication, vocal, and movement skills.
  • Prepare students for showcases and performances.
  • Observe and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to children and parents.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to support integrated learning experiences.
  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent events as required.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
Requirements
  • A diploma or degree in Performing Arts, Drama, Theatre Studies, Education, or a related field.
  • Prior experience teaching Speech and Drama to young children (experience in Singapore or international schools is a plus).
  • Passion for working with children and a strong understanding of child development.
  • Energetic, creative, and enthusiastic teaching style.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with drama curricula such as LAMDA, Trinity College London, or similar (preferred but not essential).
  • Must be eligible to work in Singapore.
