We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Executive / Executive to join our Payroll & Claims team. As a key member of the organisation, you will be responsible for managing and administering Payroll & Claims services for our service partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer payroll and claims for various government agencies using the SAP system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Process payroll, including salary payments, annual increments, bonuses, AWS, allowances, and statutory contributions.
- Handle payroll for exit cases, including no-pay leave adjustments.
- Ensure appropriate certification and approvals are in place prior to processing.
- Verify and obtain supervisory approval for all pay transactions before payment processing.
- Manage billing of seconded officers for various government agencies.
- Perform manual computations for overpayment cases and ensure timely recovery.
- Process journals and payment vouchers in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Apply independent analysis and judgment when responding to service partners, following SOPs and recommending appropriate actions.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing service partners' queries promptly.
- Review work processes and systems independently, recommending improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about transforming the delivery of Corporate Services for the Public Service. The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes and competencies:
1–2 years of payroll or claims processing experience preferred.
Fresh graduates or candidates without relevant experience but with strong learning attitude are welcome to apply.
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource, Accountancy, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Strong judgement, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Effective oral and written communication, with good presentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Logical thinking, critical analysis, and strong numerical aptitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with automation and analytical tools (e.g., RPA, VBA, Power Query, Tableau, Power BI) will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of HR/Payroll systems (Excelity Payroll, Workday, SAP) will be advantageous.
Contract Details
- Duration: 6-month contract (Immediate start)
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
