Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for a creative and hands-on Video & Photography Intern to join our marketing team. You'll play a key role in producing visually engaging content for our social media channels, events, and marketing campaigns. If you love storytelling through visuals and want to gain real-world production experience in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in planning, shooting, and editing video and photo content for social media, events, and marketing materials.
  • Support end-to-end video production, including storyboarding, shot listing, setup, and post-production.
  • Operate various cameras and recording equipment (e.g. DSLR, DJI Osmo Pocket, mobile devices, etc.).
  • Handle lighting setup, sound recording, and microphone placement during shoots.
  • Edit and colour-grade video footage using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent.
  • Help ensure production deadlines are met and content is delivered on time.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and pitch new content ideas for social media and campaigns.
  • Maintain an organised library of video and photo assets.

Requirements

  • Academic background in Communications or Film School
  • Basic understanding of the video production process — from pre-production to post-production.
  • Knowledge of storyboarding and planning a shoot.
  • Familiarity with camera operations, lighting, and sound recording.
  • Passion for storytelling and an eye for what makes a video engaging.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
  • A creative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic Photography and photo editing skills (Lightroom, Photoshop, or equivalent).
