CAD Operator cum Documentation Specialist
What this job involves
A CAD Operator cum Documentation Specialist is responsible for creating or updating layouts and as-built drawings of a specific space using CAD software. They draw sketches and incorporate them into CAD files and are responsible for plan data accuracy.
Help provide remote support to those who are installing the new space layout. They help troubleshoot, deal with escalations, and describe configurations when necessary. Planners also provides any additional information needed by answering questions and requests regarding space design.
CAD Operator cum Documentation Specialists need to have the ability to manage multiple projects with multiple deadlines They develop and maintain orderly and complete CAD files for all assigned projects. They must also adhere to strict deadlines while delivering high-quality plans.
Activities associated with utilization for space planning as required by the client site.
Documentation for all projects is maintained
Site inspections with client, as required
To ensure that the clients are provided with a high standard of service at all times.
Manage, coordinate trucks, and moving equipment to move and transport furniture, excess assets, and materials to and from point of use/pick-up to final destination
Manage the furniture inventory including chair repair as required as defined.
Administration of CAD database and master drawings for all disciplines including but not limited to as built updates, space allocation drawings for space type tracking, headcount and run reports as needed.
Team player and work with other members of the team to meet all key performance indicators as set out in the management contract.
Responsible for site facilities operation.
Responsible for delivery of services in accordance with Client Management SLA
Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations
Client/Stakeholder Management
Manage the key client team representatives effectively to ensure that expected service levels are achieved
Build strong working relationships with key client representatives and promote JLL's EOS platform and provide a key linkage between the wider JLL organization and the client representative and account team
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of programs and procedures
Risk Management
Ensure alignment and compliance to established Policies and Standard Operating Procedures for the management of the client's Critical Environment (CEM)
Ensure proper engineering documentation and adherence to the established change management controls for all sites
Protect the health and safety of staff and others by adhering to and developing guidelines and strategies
Conduct audits to ensure that all safety procedures, including disaster recovery and business continuity plan and escalation procedures are in place and maintained
Experienced
At minimum, you have a Diploma in engineering related field and/or 3-5 years' relevant working experience. CAD Operator cum Documentation Specialists need to be detail-oriented, flexible, adaptable, and very good at planning and organizing. They must also have CAD technical experience and be highly motivated and committed to the development of high-quality work and personal productivity. These individuals are often on small teams and managed by someone who does not have a lot of spacial planning or CAD knowledge.
