IT Administrator

We are seeking a skilled IT Administrator with expertise in firewalls and VPN networks to manage and maintain our network security infrastructure.

Job Description:

• Install, configure, test, maintain and troubleshoot staff workstation/ laptop hardware, software, etc
• Maintain & monitor office IT Security and Server Security (Windows Platform)
• Configuration and Troubleshooting of Firewall system, LAN and Wireless Network issue
• Monitor the performance of existing computer systems and IT infrastructures
• Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats
• Creating user accounts and performing access control
• Inventory Management of software licenses
• Maintaining phone and attendance system with external vendors
• Provide IT and office maintenance support to all staff
• Any other duties as and when directed by the Senior Management and IT Manager

Requirements:

• Singaporeans only (NO quota available for foreign workers)
• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology or any related field
• 1-year contract renewable / will convert to a full-time employment based on performance

Must-Have Skill Sets:

Technical Skills:

• Prior knowledge of firewall installation/setup/maintenance
• Hands-on experience with VPN technologies
• Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools

Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT administration with a focus on network security

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical personnel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
