Funds Associate | 4+ PQE | Singapore
Our client, a leading offshore law firm, is seeking a 4+PQE Funds Associate to join their growing Funds team in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-to-senior level lawyer to take the next step in their career, working on a mix of fund formation, incorporation, and regulatory matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a broad range of funds-related matters, including fund formation, structuring, and incorporation across various jurisdictions.
- Handle regulatory compliance matters for funds, working closely with the firms dedicated regulatory team.
- Provide strategic advice to asset managers, private equity firms, and other institutional clients on fund establishment, governance, and operational matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firms global network
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to the development of the team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 4-7 years of PQE in funds-related work, gained at a reputable law firm or in-house.
- Qualified outside of Singapore in a common law jurisdiction (e.g., UK, Australia, New Zealand).
- Strong technical expertise in fund formation, incorporation, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working with a variety of fund structures, including private equity, hedge funds, and mixed funds.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
