As a CSSD Technician, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Perform quality inspection and quantity counts to set instruments, loose instruments, and utensils.
  • Identify and use appropriate methods and solutions to sort, disassemble, rinse and disinfect instruments and utensils.
  • Operate and troubleshoot the cleaning equipment.
  • Ultrasonic washer.
  • Washer disinfector / cart washer.

  • Perform packaging of below items using appropriate packing materials:-

  • Loose instruments.

  • Instrument set.
  • Lien.
  • Utensils.
  • Appropriately identify each sterilizer load and maintain record of each cycle.
  • Stock, label and issue sterile supplies.
  • Prepare procedure card cart according to surgery preference cardex.

Requirements:

  • Candidates with HMI / ITE Certificate for Healthcare Support (Sterilization Service) will be an advantage.
  • At least 1 year of relevant working experiences.
