Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage monitoring conditions and thresholds to trigger alerts and enable proactive issue resolution.
  • Implement automated response policies, auto-restart of VMs, dynamic resource allocation to minimize manual intervention.
  • Apply load balancing and failover mechanisms to maintain high availability and uptime.
  • Provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 technical support for FusionCompute environments, covering VM lifecycle, networking, and storage.
  • Document problem analysis and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Facilitate automated deployment tools to streamline VM provisioning and reduce manual errors.
  • Manage resource allocation to align with performance and cost objectives.
  • Conduct impact assessments, develop mitigation plans, and minimize change failure risks.

Requirement:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with virtualization technologies in VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • 2 years of experience in Banking or Financial Industry in VMware Implementation and Operation Support is Mandatory.
  • Experience in datacenter design, architecture, and cloud/virtualization management.
  • Solid understanding of virtualization, cloud architecture, and service models (IaaS, PaaS).
  • Proficient in networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VXLAN), and storage (SAN, NAS).
  • Skilled in automation/orchestration tools such as Ansible and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Preferred to have Industry certifications in virtualization/cloud technologies - Huawei Certified ICT Associate, VMware Certified Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
