Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in the planning, design, and day-to-day management of foundation and geotechnical engineering projects.
  • Prepare design calculations, technical drawings, and other engineering documentation.
  • Determine operational requirements and assist the Project Manager in preparing project schedules.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for document submissions to relevant authorities, when required.
  • Attend site meetings, facilitate communication among project team members, and resolve technical or operational issues.
  • Maintain and update project records for reporting and submission purposes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects in accordance with schedules.
  • Adhere to safety procedures, rules, and regulations, and proactively eliminate workplace hazards.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Manager related to project execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, from a PE Board-recognized university.
  • Passion for and knowledge of foundation or geotechnical engineering works.
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills with a proactive "can-do" attitude.
  • Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Willingness to work on construction sites and travel between project locations to monitor progress.
