Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in the planning, design, and day-to-day management of foundation and geotechnical engineering projects.
- Prepare design calculations, technical drawings, and other engineering documentation.
- Determine operational requirements and assist the Project Manager in preparing project schedules.
- Liaise with sub-contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Coordinate with external vendors for document submissions to relevant authorities, when required.
- Attend site meetings, facilitate communication among project team members, and resolve technical or operational issues.
- Maintain and update project records for reporting and submission purposes.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects in accordance with schedules.
- Adhere to safety procedures, rules, and regulations, and proactively eliminate workplace hazards.
- Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Manager related to project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, from a PE Board-recognized university.
- Passion for and knowledge of foundation or geotechnical engineering works.
- Strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills with a proactive "can-do" attitude.
- Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to work on construction sites and travel between project locations to monitor progress.
