MES Engineer

Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement MES solutions customized to optimize production processes, streamline workflows, and boost manufacturing productivity.
• Continuously assess and enhance MES capabilities to meet evolving production requirements, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal operational disruptions.
• Generate and manage comprehensive reports on production and manufacturing KPIs.
• Take charge of MES projects from initiation to conclusion, defining scope, managing timelines, and providing regular progress updates.
• Proactively monitor MES performance, pre-emptively identify potential system issues, and implement preventive measures to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Conduct regular maintenance of MES software and hardware, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure systems operate at peak performance.
• Collaborate with production and IT teams to identify opportunities for MES improvement and implement changes that align with long-term operational objectives.
• Provide remote support from Singapore for global sites, as there is no local factory presence.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with database management and maintenance in DB2 or Oracle.
• Hands-on working experience with .NET / ASP.NET, C# / CSS / WinForms / Scripts and MSSQL / MySQL
• Hands-on working experience with system integration between MES and SAP.
• Proven track record in MES system development, integration, and optimization in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Require for 1-3 months travel to US, China and India HQ for project implementation
