Sales Operations plays a critical role in supporting the growth and efficiency of Professional Services by managing forecasting, backlog, resource planning, and billing processes. This function acts as a key business partner to enable accurate financial management and operational excellence within the Professional Services organization.
As a Sales Operations Analyst in Professional Services, you will be a vital contributor to the operational and financial success of the business. You will manage forecasting, backlog, billing accuracy, and resource allocation, working closely with leadership across Professional Services, Sales, Billing, and Finance. Your role will drive process improvements, ensure compliance, and provide data insights to support strategic decisions and growth across enterprise and complex accounts in the APAC region.
As a Sales Operations Business Analyst (APAC), you will:
Manage financial performance and service metrics, including bookings, utilization, margins, backlog, revenue, labor, sales forecasting, and labor rates.
Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors to provide accurate revenue and billing forecasts weekly.
Recommend and implement systems, policies, and process improvements for operational excellence and compliance.
Partner with Practice and Delivery Managers to ensure appropriate resourcing for billable projects, proofs of concept, and presales.
Work with Billing and Finance teams to ensure timely project billing, expense tracking, and project analysis.
Oversee operational cadence and compliance, including billing forecasts, time and expense approvals, and onboarding of new field members.
Approve weekly time and expenses for active projects and perform monthly invoicing for consulting labor and expenses.
Collaborate with APAC and global teams across sales, finance, operations, legal, and other key functions.
Work alongside Deal Desk to support complex deal structuring and ensure policy adherence for booking accuracy.
Support Sales Operations teams to maintain booking forecast continuity and communication between Professional Services and Sales organizations.
Onboard Engagement Managers on operational policies and provide training on Netsuite.
Implement global strategies tailored to APAC markets.
Conduct business analytics and reporting, leveraging BI tools such as Tableau.
We're excited about you if you have:
Minimum 6 years' experience in Professional Services Operations or related fields.
Experience with billing, expense, and timecard tracking/PSA tools.
Strong analytical skills, process orientation, and effective decision-making abilities.
Ability to work onsite during peak periods to support financial close processes.
Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across organizational levels.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in , OpenAir, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Tableau experience is a plus.
Professional, outgoing personality with excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.
