About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Drafter to join our talented team at Architects SG LLP in Serangoon Central, North-East Region. As a fulltime Architectural Drafter (Building), you will play a crucial role in transforming architectural designs into detailed technical drawings and plans that guide the construction process.

What you'll be doing

  1. Translate architects' conceptual designs into accurate and detailed technical drawings using CAD software
  2. Produce a range of architectural plans, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
  3. Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet technical and regulatory requirements
  4. Contribute to the development of design standards, templates, and processes to enhance efficiency
  5. Stay up-to-date with changes in building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
  6. Provide support and mentorship to junior drafters as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as an Architectural Drafter in a similar role
  2. Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or ArchiCAD
  3. Strong understanding of building construction methods, materials, and regulations
  4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings
  5. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  6. Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  7. Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Building Design, or a related field preferred
