Job Summary:A Assistant Retail Manager supports the Butchery Manager in daily operations, ensuring quality meat cuts, food safety compliance, inventory control, customer service, and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in cutting, portioning, labeling, and displaying meat products.
- Monitor stock, place orders, rotate inventory, and conduct stock checks.
- Maintain sanitation, ensure proper storage, and enforce safety standards.
- Advise customers on meat selection and cooking methods; address inquiries and complaints.
- Train, supervise, delegate tasks, and provide feedback to staff.
- Assist in promotions, track sales, and maintain records.
- Knowledge of meat cuts and processing
- Experience in meat cutting and trimming
- Strong customer service and leadership skills
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting
