Responsibilities:-

  • Analyse, design & plan sustainable energy projects that include Photovoltaic System, Battery Energy Storage system and Electric Vehicle Charging (EVC) System
  • Review tender technical requirements & ensure compliance with all requirements
  • Familiar with applicable codes, standards and regulations with Singapore Authorities especially SCDF, EMA, etc
  • Liaise with clients, internal team members on project requirements
  • Prepare technical, scheduling proposals & drafting of technical drawings
  • System specification, design and lay-out using tools such as PVSyst & AutoCAD
  • Create electrical schematics, wire sizing, determine quantities & required components and parts
  • Component, parts and equipment evaluation, specification & selection based on cost vs performance
  • Perform system integrating and engineering works
  • Manage ongoing projects and on-site verification of installation, testing and commissioning
  • Able to analyse and evaluate technical and statistical data
  • Provide necessary corrective and preventive actions
  • Any other relevant job duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Clean/Sustainable Energy
  • Must have min 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in the areas of renewable energy systems and/or deployment of BESS in Singapore project only
  • Experience in various renewables and clean energy sources with applications and utilisation of latest technology Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) will be an advantage
  • IT savvy in MS Office, AutoCAD, PVSyst will be an advantage
  • Knowledge in applicable codes, policies, standards & best practices
  • Good presentation & communication skills in both spoken & written
  • Ability to write reports and technical materials
