About the role
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our team at Seagreen Food Industries Pte Ltd, based in the Senoko North Region. This full-time role is responsible for maintaining efficient and effective inventory management practices to support the overall manufacturing and logistics operations of our company.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to optimise stock levels and minimise waste
- Conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to forecast demand and maintain appropriate stock levels
- Analyse inventory data and generate reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems and tools to streamline processes
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
- Provide training and support to relevant departments on inventory management best practices
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an inventory management or supply chain role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Proficient in using inventory management software and systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and process improvement
- Relevant degree or professional certification in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is preferred
