About the Role

We are seeking a Web Developer with 1–3 years of experience in WordPress backend or digital analytics. This is an opportunity for someone in their second career step who is ready to take on more ownership.

You will work across backend web development, site reliability, and digital tracking governance. The role requires someone detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable balancing both technical development and data validation. Using AI tools like ChatGPT to improve workflow, automate tasks, and enhance productivity is strongly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

WordPress Development & Optimisation

  • Build and maintain websites using WordPress, including developing custom PHP modules and plugins where needed.
  • Optimise database, caching, and performance to achieve PageSpeed ≥ 90.
  • Manage version upgrades and plugin updates with minimal disruption.

Site Reliability & Automation

  • Set up and monitor automated backups and staging deployments.
  • Ensure zero unplanned downtime through proactive maintenance.

Tracking & Analytics Governance

  • Implement and QA tracking setups in GTM, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel.
  • Reconcile marketing leads across CRM, GA4, and ad platforms with ≤1% variance.
  • Maintain anomaly reports and validate campaign tracking.

Vendor Liaison & Documentation

  • Act as single point of contact for hosting, domains, and vendor management.
  • Document processes, contacts, and technical workflows clearly.
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, automation scripts) to improve reporting, QA, and documentation efficiency.
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of relevant working experience in WordPress development, web tracking, or digital analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress Development (PHP, Bootstrap, JQuery).
  • Hands-on exposure to GTM, GA4, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or equivalent.
  • Understanding of how digital campaigns and CRM data flow together.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Open to experimenting with AI tools to enhance productivity.
