Responsibilities

Veterinary Nurse

  • Manage the reception desk, handle client enquiries, and perform general administrative duties.
  • Assist veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and anaesthesia monitoring.
  • Support hospital treatments, run laboratory tests, and assist with diagnostic imaging.
  • Handle stock management, including inventory checks and restocking supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the clinic to ensure a safe environment for staff and animals.

Veterinary Surgeon

  • Perform consultations, clinical examinations, and diagnose medical conditions for small animals and exotic pets.
  • Conduct soft-tissue surgeries and dental procedures, including sterilisation, mass removals, and C-sections.
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging (e.g., radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy) and conduct in-house lab tests using IDEXX equipment.
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including pre- and post-operative care, pain management, and monitoring.
  • Handle emergency and urgent care cases efficiently while maintaining clear communication with clients.
  • Collaborate with veterinary teams on case discussions and maintain accurate medical records in line with clinic standards.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, BioTechnology, Veterinary Bioscience, or equivalent preferred.
  • Fully registered or eligible for registration with the relevant veterinary council (e.g. AVS Singapore or equivalent).
