Cyber Security (VM & Regional TISO) Intern

Internship Period: 12 January July 2026

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and savvy Cybersecurity Intern who is not afraid to present or talk in front of an audience to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will assist in identifying, assessing, and managing vulnerabilities within the organization's IT infrastructure. The intern will gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity, specifically vulnerability scanning, risk assessment, and remediation tracking, while contributing to the ongoing improvement of our security posture. Additionally, you will play a key role in promoting cybersecurity awareness and education among employees.

The Intern will also be involved in:

Vulnerability Assessment:

•    Assist in conducting periodic vulnerability assessments on IT infrastructure, including servers and network devices, to identify security weaknesses.

•    Utilize automated vulnerability scanners to detect potential vulnerabilities and assess their impact.

Security Patch Advisory:

•    Monitor and track security patches to ensure timely application of critical updates.

•    Assist in the coordination and implementation of security patches across the organization's IT environment.

Risk Assessment:

•    Participate in risk assessment activities to evaluate the potential impact of identified vulnerabilities on the organization's operations.

•    Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies and countermeasures to address identified vulnerabilities.

Automation Design and Implementation:

•    Develop automation solutions to optimize workflows and improve productivity.

Cybersecurity Awareness & Training:

•    Assist in promoting cybersecurity awareness and education to inculcate good security practices among employees.

•    Support phishing simulation training and design, cyber newsletter editing, and cybersecurity workshop planning.

•    Participate and assist in organizing cybersecurity forums and meetings.

Job Requirements:

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Stream, Survey.

•    A strong flair for design and video editing.

•    Experienced in conducting demos and delivering presentations.
