Responsibilities:
- Operate plant equipment and processes both from the control room (DCS) and in the field under guidance from the Production Engineer.
- Follow all EHS regulations, SOPs, and emergency procedures.
- Perform field duties such as material and catalyst loading, equipment preparation for Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), filter replacements, 5S rounds, and regular inspections.
- Learn to operate the Delta V DCS system with support from senior technicians.
- Assist with sampling and basic testing during production.
- Report any safety issues, accidents, or unsafe behaviors immediately.
- Participate in safety programs and serve as part of the firefighting team when required.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or other related engineering qualification (e.g. Nitec)
- Able to work 24/7 shift schedule
- Basic understanding of chemical processes
